Homeless Winter Shelter Programs

Reach Out, a program of Catholic Community Services of King County (CCSKC), provides shelter, daily meals, and case management services to homeless adults at local Federal Way Churches during the coldest winter months. The program relies on partnerships with area congregations, community organizations, businesses, as well as many caring individuals and families.
The program's goal is to serve those in need by providing support to assist them in achieving self sufficiency, in turn strengthening our community. Reach Out has supported the men’s shelter for the last four winter seasons, and opened a shelter for women on December 26, 2011. With continued support from our community, Reach Out will be able to re-open both shelters this fall for a full five months during the winter season.
