Club's Focus

Our club's focus is on children and seniors.

We have programs in the elementary, middle and high schools in the Federal Way Public Schools.

At Mark Twain, Olympic View, Star Lake, and Valhalla Elementary Schools we have Bring Up Grades, BUG Programs.  This is a program that recognizes students who bring up one grade during a grading period.  They are generally recognized in an assembly with parents,  teachers, students and Kiwanis members present.  They receive  certificates, pins and pencils with little bugs on them.  The smiles on their faces are amazing.  They are so proud of themselves and the parents are also beaming.

At Totem Middle School we have a Builders Club.  Builders Club is the largest service club for middle school students in the world.  This is a program that is student led and members learn to work together and develop servant-leaders skills as they serve their school and community.

We have a Key Club at Thomas Jefferson High School .  This club has 70 members.  Key Club is an international student-led organization which provides its members with opportunities to provide service, build character and develop leadership.

Check out our list of Club Activities to see just what we do throughout the year.
